CCP Baseline Survey underway
COTM is conducting a brief survey to understand more about the picture of Continuing Competence for Manitoba OTs. All Manitoba OTs are invited to take the short survey and enter a draw for a tablet computer.
The results of this survey will help COTM to understand the current baseline level of knowledge and participation that OTs have in continuing competence activities and where the new CCP should focus in order to best support them in meeting the CCP requirements.
Individual identities of persons completing the survey are not available to COTM. Results will be compiled and reported in combined form only.
In the future, similar surveys will be conducted to see whether the program is having the impacts intended. Results will be compared to the responses to this baseline survey and used to evaluate the CCP.
Preliminary results show great potential to help shape and direct the new CCP to fit what Manitoba OTs need and want. The average time to complete the short survey is less than 10 minutes.
To get the best and most complete picture possible, all registered Manitoba OTs are encouraged to complete the survey. Instructions for entering the draw are provided when the survey is submitted. Draw entries are completely separate from the survey itself. It is not possible for COTM to link the identities of persons entering the draw with completed survey responses.
The survey will be open until Dec.1, 2011. To take the survey please click here: 2011 CCP Survey.
Please contact CCP@cotm.ca for questions or comments about the CCP Survey.
