On-line registration - What’s your opinion?
Thank you to all COTM members who took the time to complete the comments section on the 2012 Registration form. All data received has been tabulated. The most popular suggestion: for COTM to consider an on-line registration renewal program.
As we all know, on-line registration is becoming more commonplace as we move towards a more paperless society. Registering on-line has many benefits - convenience, ease of use, efficiency, and accessibility, to name a few. However, as with any new technology, there is a cost involved. Council is currently exploring what it would take to achieve on-line registration without a fee increase. In the instance where no other options are found other than an increase in fees, we would like to know what additional fee COTM members, if called upon, would be prepared to pay to acquire the ability of online registration renewal. Please take a moment to complete the Poll and let us know your opinion.
Rest assured - there is no plan to raise fees at the present time. We will continue to study how we can achieve this without increasing fees.
